YOUTUBE CHANNEL “CLIQ’D” PUTS HORROR FANS IN DIRECTOR’S CHAIR

With Paranormal Activity 4 and Sinister currently scaring moviegoers in theaters, a new YouTube channel is giving horror fans the opportunity to step into the director’s chair and put their creativity to the test.

Designed as an interactive outlet for user-generated content, the YouTube channel “CLIQ’D” is celebrating horror movie month by issuing a challenge to fans of the genre: make a horror movie with a running time of one minute or less.

When you check out “CLIQ’D” on YouTube, you’ll find three different cliques related to various interests; movies, comedy and music.  From there, you choose a mission and complete the video based on that mission’s guidelines, like the ‘One Minute Horror Movie.’  Once you upload your video to “CLIQ’D,” if it makes the cut, they post it to their YouTube channel and cut you a check for $250.  New missions are posted to the channel often, giving content creators countless opportunities to create original videos, and make money while doing it.

Think you’re the next Wes Craven?  Prove it and “CLIQ’D” will finance your one minute horror movie…for $250, that is.
