When Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph hits theaters Friday, November 2nd, the action is brought to life with a lively mix of music thanks to the score from Henry Jackman (Winnie the Pooh, Puss in Boots) and original songs from Grammy®-winning artist Skrillex, Japanese pop group AKB48, Buckner & Garcia (the team behind the 1982 Top-10 hit “Pac-Man Fever”), and the American pop/electronia musician Adam Young, better known as Owl City.
Recently collaborating with Carly Rae Jepsen on “Good Time,” Owl City’s original song for Wreck-It Ralph is “When Can I See You Again?” which Young says offers a bit of an emotional tug-of-war. ”It’s a very bouncy, happy, uplifting song, but there’s a bittersweet part of it, leaving a key relationship in the film open-ended.”
If the song wasn’t enough, Owl City hits the arcade-setting for the song’s music video.
