FASHION: BOND ON A BUDGET
We’ve got roughly a month to go before the 23rd Bond film, Skyfall, lands in theaters and critics are already praising the work of stars Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Bond girls Bérénice Marlohe and Naomie Harris, plus director Sam Mendes on his first time at the helm of a 007 film.
Hollywood Reporter’s Todd McCarthy stated in his review, “Dramatically gripping while still brandishing a droll undercurrent of humor, this beautifully made film certainly will be embraced as one of the best Bonds by loyal fans worldwide and leaves you wanting the next one to turn up sooner than four years from now.”
While the quality of the film is being deemed higher than its predecessor, Quantum of Solace, one thing can be counted on to remain the same, in a good way, the sleek, classy style of the James Bond world.
The Aston Martin is certainly a mainstay, and would cost any of us well over a quarter of a million dollars to own. Don’t even get us started on the costs of the luxury hotels or the number of high tech gadgets that flash across the screen.
But one thing we can certainly talk shop on is the fashion. Bond would never be caught in anything but high end products, which includes his suit and accessories. If you love Bond’s style and want it for yourself (or that special man in your life), you don’t have to have Bond’s money. We’re here to put it all in perspective, showing you how to get that sleek and sexy Bond style on budget.
