Friday night has longed been considered a television graveyard of sorts, executives burying shows into the primetime schedule here before officially giving it the boot. But times have changed, and the networks have been working hard to make Friday a night of good television for that crowd who chooses to stay on the couch and not start the weekend right away.
NBC can officially say it’s found Friday night success with the fantasy drama “Grimm.”
The show’s first season finale brought in over 5 million viewers and was either #1 or tied for #1 among key demographics – adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 – versus the other top nets (ABC, CBS, and Fox).
As the show prepares for its second season, some of its stars, including David Giuntoli and Silas Weir Mitchell, paid a visit to Comic-Con earlier this month to give fans a sneak peek of what’s to come.
And for those who haven’t quite discovered “Grimm,” fans looking to refresh their memories, or for some in-depth insight into the show’s making, the complete first season will hit DVD shelves just days before the second season bow.
As part of our TV Fall Previews, The Seven Sees takes you into the world of “Grimm” and has your first look at a scene from season two.
