In 2008, a group of actors brought their new movie to Comic-Con in San Diego and a tradition was born. Fans embraced the film adaptation of author Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight” and created megastars out of its actors – mostly Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson – who remember the fear of walking into Hall H within the San Diego Convention Center in front of 6,000 people for the first time.
“Definitely the first one was genuinely frightening because I had never experienced any, I don’t think any of us had experienced any kind of crowd that large,” Pattinson told reporters just before his final Hall H appearance for this franchise.
The connection between the Twi-hards and the cast of the Twilight films is more evident during Comic-Con than any other event, so it was only fitting that The Seven Sees put the fans front and center as they bid farewell to the movie franchise they’ve helped turn into a billion dollar box office phenomenon worldwide.
