Just days before the movie hits theaters, Steve Carell and Keira Knightley brought their apocalyptic comedy/drama Seeking a Friend for the End of the World to the Los Angeles Film Festival.  Along with the movie’s writer/director Lorene Scafaria, the stars were joined by Connie Britton (American Horror Story, Friday Night Lights), Rob Corddry (Children’s Hospital), Adam Brody (Jennifer’s Body, Scream 4), T.J. Miller (Our Idiot Brother, Rock of Ages), and Gillian Jacobs (Community).

Seeking a Friend follows Carell and Knightley on a road trip to be with family and lost loves before an asteroid destroys the Earth.  It’s the perfect setting for all-star guest appearances by some of the best and funniest.  While Carell and Knightley are an unlikely film duo, the stars and director told The Seven Sees their two distinct acting styles complimented each other perfectly.
